What Little Croft Care Home offers
Our Rooms – We encourage your freedom and independence
There are 41, non-smoking, single bedrooms, 38 of those having en-suite wet rooms, all decorated to a luxurious standard. Some rooms have patio doors, for your enjoyment of our beautiful gardens and each room has a lock and key for security.
You will have your own phone and TV points, all are wheelchair accessible, and each have a call alarm system, so you have access to help should you need it. You can also bring some pieces of furniture with you, to create your comfortable space and home from home feeling.
We encourage your freedom and independence, so you can either enjoy the tranquil gardens and patio, the spacious dining rooms and lounges or if you chose, have some privacy in your own room with your loved ones.
Your family and friends are very welcome to bring in a well-behaved dog that you know and may miss because we understand how much they may mean to you.
Food & Drink – Each dish is freshly prepared and we give you a first-class dining experience every time
We spend a lot of time considering the meals our residents like to be served and find that they love to eat locally produced, great quality food. Our chefs source high quality ingredients from leading local suppliers, including Ruby & White gourmet butcher, and Arthur David for fresh fruit and vegetables.
The balanced, nutritious menus reflect the changing seasons, also paying attention to special dietary requirements, food allergies and religious stipulations.
Each dish is freshly prepared and we give you a first-class dining experience every time, served in our newly refurbished, welcoming dining rooms. Although we encourage the use of these, you are welcome to have your meal served in your room, whichever you prefer.
Afternoon teas with gorgeous cakes or fresh fruit are also a firm favourite with the residents who love these afternoon treats.
Little Croft currently holds a 5-star rating from the Local Authority for Food and Hygiene which is testament to the dedication of our team of chefs.
Activities – Recreational activities are so important for all the residents’ enjoyment and wellbeing
Recreational activities are so important for all the residents’ enjoyment and wellbeing. We have three dedicated co-ordinators to ensure we have a full programme of engaging events.
We encourage the participation of family, friends and the local community. These can be trips out with staff, activities in the garden or in the home. We focus on your independence, agility and of course, choice.
You let us know what you would like, and we take the time to explore how to make that possible. We love listening to your ideas and making them a reality, so you can enjoy every day with us.
That may be some gentle gardening, serving tea or laying tables, as well as some of the more traditional activities. Whatever they are, we love to see you absorbed and stimulated, part of our person-centred approach to your care.
