Meet the team
Carol Evans
Registered Manager
I am proud to say I am the Registered Manager for Little Croft Care Home and I have been in this position for the past thirteen years. I started my career working as a staff trainer in retail and then completely changed my role to follow my passion of working in care. I began working in a hospital specialising in mental health and dementia and I then progressed my career through further training and began working for a housing association as a Senior Manager for extra care housing. Since taking up my role at Little Croft Care Home I have gained a vast amount of experience, many qualifications, and achieved the Registered Managers Award. My focus is to provide a comfortable and welcoming home that enables residents to feel safe, calm and at ease, with laughter and fun along the way. Outside of work, I am a wife, mother, grandmother, and I adore spending quality time with my family, especially my young grandchildren. I enjoy social evenings, music, reading and walking my two dogs Poppy and Rosie.
Lisa Fryar
Care Manager
I came to Little Croft in 2018 as the Deputy Manager and since then I have worked up to becoming the Care Manager. I have worked in care for over fifteen years and have extensive qualifications which include NVQ Level 2 & NVQ Level 3, End of Life, Equality and Diversity and recently completed my NVQ Level 5 which is a great achievement. I have also taken a course in Dementia and I am a qualified Dementia Link Worker. I really enjoy my role and overseeing the care home alongside the Registered Manager Carol. I recently got married in 2021 and my husband and I enjoy walking with our new addition to the family, Bear. He is a Bear Coated Shar pei and is only one years old. He will sometimes come to work with me and spends time with the residents who really enjoy seeing him, with residents sometimes asking where he is, as they miss him when he is not around. In my spare time at home, I enjoy looking after my tropical fish tanks, reading, and going for walks with Bear.
Suzanne Hillier
Team Leader
Suzanne Hillier or ‘Suzie’ as I like to be known, I have worked at Little Croft Care Home for three years. I have completed the Care Certificate and recently completed my NVQ Level 3. I started my career in care as an activity co-ordinator and then went on to become a Carer, progressing to Team Leader. I really enjoy my role and I’m very passionate about seeing residents happy and enjoying their time with us. I have a passion for working in the care sector and enjoy making a difference to someone’s life. Prior to joining Little Croft, I worked in Retail for many years. At home I enjoy spending time with my family and in my spare time I am a clairvoyant, bringing support love and guidance.
